A government bureaucrat receives a memo written in a language he has never seen before: Ptydepe, a scientific discourse invented to increase the precision and accuracy of office communication. The agency is soon turned upside down as the new jargon spreads. First produced at Prague's Balustrade Theater, The Memorandum is a witty play that takes place at the real and relevant intersection of Monty Python, The Office, and Orwell's 1984.
