We will be having drinks and canapés at Norton Rose's wonderful riverside venue at which The Rt Hon Baroness Warsi, Anneke Van Woudenberg, Dame Audrey Glover and Hannah Bond discuss women in conflict and the importance of support to work in this area.
We will be discussing the role of women in peace building and the impact it has on women on a global and domestic level.
This evening is in support of the important work done by GAPS-UK (Gender Action for Peace and Security) who work to ensure women are involved in the peace process in countries in conflict and to decrease the disproportionate impact conflict has on women.
The evening will be an opportunity to catch up with friends, meet new ones, learn about women, peace and conflict, and support a wonderful organisation.
