Sandwich Lab 03: DESSERT
Our exploration of the sandwich wouldn't be complete without dessert! In this lab, pastry chef and artist Leah Rosenberg leads a demonstration of how to make the perfect ice cream sandwich, including tips on homemade ice cream, cookie theory, and the pleasures of inventive packaging and display.
Co-hosted by meatpaper's Sasha Wizansky and Bi-Rite's Susan Kim, Sandwich Lab is a 4-part series intended to get to the bottom of sandwich-mania. Attendees will learn about the sandwich from the outside in, make and eat many different sandwich types, and investigate why we love sandwiches oh so much. Be prepared to get your hands dirty!
