Radiate Love & Light for Melissa Kirby in Alexandria, VA
Melissa Kirby, a vibrant and beautiful 43 year old mother of two, suffered a severe brain stem stroke last April. Melissa has full cognitive functioning but was left with little ability to move her body. She has made enormous progress over the last 10 months and works extremely hard with physical, occupational and speech therapists everyday to regain abilities. She can communicate by use of a letter chart and has strong and loving relationships with her family and close friends. Melissa has practiced yoga since 1996. Her supreme focus, strength and meditation tools, along with her tremendous determination and optimistic spirit help her deal with her daily challenges. Melissa depends on many alternative therapies to promote her healing in addition to medical care. She continues to improve but will need care and support for a long time. The cost of this care is staggering. Your donations will go directly toward paying for the healing therapies that keep her hopeful and strong.
