Cuddle Sanctuary: Women's Night
Cuddle Sanctuary is the place to be to unwind, take time for yourself and feel good. Like a spa experience for your feminine spirit - join us!
Snacks will be provided. Women and female identified people - all welcome.
I'm Jean Franzblau, facilitator of Cuddle Sanctuary, where people come to unwind in a welcoming environment so they can give and receive cuddling and feel connected to themselves and each other.
At Cuddle Sanctuary you may experience an increased sense of well-being and belonging, a boost in compassion and playfulness, a decrease blood pressure and maybe even a better night's sleep. You are guaranteed to have a fantastic Saturday night - individuals, groups and couples all welcome.

The Cuddle Sanctuary workshop is a guided experience that includes a welcome circle, easy relaxation activities, communication exercises and a description of cuddle etiquette. The event culminates in a voluntary "cuddle lab." Touch is always consensual and never a requirement to participate.

8:00 Registration begins. Note: doors close at 8:30pm. Please be sure to leave yourself lots of time to arrive and park so you won't be on the wrong side of the door. Sorry, no refunds for latecomers.)
8:30PM Opening circle, relaxation activities, communication exercises, cuddle etiquette, voluntary cuddle lab
10:30pm Closing circle / Fond Farewells
WHAT TO WEAR? Dress in clothes that are conducive to snuggling. Soft, cozy pajamas, cotton t-shirts, sweatpants, leggings are all welcome. Feel free to change clothes when you arrive. Hygiene is important at cuddles - be squeaky clean and minty fresh - it's easier to get close that way! (Note: come free of perfumes and colognes. Some of us have sensitive noses, thanks!)
WHAT TO BRING? Bring tons of pillows, blankets, comforters and sleeping bags. We're going to transform a yoga studio with hardwood floors into a cuddle haven. You may also bring sensual things like silk, feathers and hair brushes for playing with hair.

To find the Love Dome, look for the "Out Of The Closet Sign" which is a few doors down and the brightest sign in the area.
GUIDELINES
* Clothes/Pajamas stay on the whole time.
* You don't have to touch anyone (you get to decide what you want and don't want)*
* Ask permission before touching or hugging anyone. Wait for a verbal "yes" before you do.
* If you feel like a "maybe" to someone's request, consider just saying "no." (It's good practice to pay attention to what you really want. It's really the whole point!)
* You are encouraged to change your mind.
* Respect people's privacy when sharing about the event.
ABOUT YOUR CUDDLE FACILITATOR: For years, I kept Googling "cuddle" and "Los Angeles" hoping to find a cuddle event. For so long, I found nothing and was bummed. Now, I consider cuddling an important part of my emotional and physical health. I notice that when I get the cuddling I need, I feel really happy and playful. I'm so honored to finally be able to host my own events. Welcome to Cuddle Sanctuary!
Here's my bio: Jean Franzblau graduated cum laude with a BA in communications from UCLA and has 18 years experience with the 12-step model of recovery. She has guided individuals and groups through life changing transformative programs, workshops and one-on-one mentoring. Franzblau has also worked internationally with companies as a seminar leader and with corporate executives as a coach - to inspire people to reach their highest potential. With her background as a writer and performing artist, Franzblau created the show "Coming Out Kinky A Grown Up Comedy" which she performs in cities across the country to spark authentic conversations about sexuality.
