Does puppet theatre help us understand our world? Artists Alice Nelson, Alain Moreau, Kenn McLeod & Chrystene Ells answer how a puppet, with a brain of fluff or wood, plays a role in sociology, psychology, and other 'ologies'. Moderated by Wendy Passmore

Hailing from Regina, Kenn McLeod is a performer, director, and educator, always on the lookout for new ways to expand his theatrical repertoire.

Hailing from Regina, Kenn McLeod is a performer, director, and educator, always on the lookout for new ways to expand his theatrical repertoire. See his short film The War Effort, a true story about two young friends who attempt their own brand of war profiteering in the summer of 1943.

ALICE NELSON (Calgary)
Alice is an actor, playwright, director, theatre educator, puppeteer, improviser, mask maker, clown, and founder of Organized Crime Productions. Alice holds an MFA in Ensemble Created Theatre from Dell'Arte Physical Theatre School in California, and works with the renowned Loose Moose Theatre and WP Puppet Theatre. As a volunteer with Clowns Without Borders Alice has been on four expeditions to South Africa since 2006, performing and teaching clown to children and communities whose lives have been affected by HIV/ AIDS.
