Shelita Burns, an accomplished Afro American New York Publisher travels to the South to deliver a Prestigious award to the Author of "Bee-Luther-Hatchee" only to find that the true identity of the Author is a White man named Sean Leonard. Furious and Resentful, Shelita charges Sean of perpetrating a hoax and wrongfully Impersonating the life of the central character-Libby Price. The confrontation that takes place borders on the edge of the racial divide and builds to a jarring act of fury.
