The Rabbit Hole
RABBIT HOLE at The Claire in Lynden, February 5 22. The Lynden Performing Arts Guild is proud to present the 2007 Pulitzer Prize winning drama, Rabbit Hole, written by David Lindsay-Abaire. Directed by Shawn Fuller, the production runs from February 5 through February 22 at the Claire vg Thomas Theatre in Lynden.
Rabbit Hole, a simple yet rich story about a family overcoming a major loss, includes humor as well as drama, and is acclaimed for being "entertaining and satisfying - a beautifully crafted work of great sensitivity". Variety magazine said "David Lindsay-Abaire has crafted a drama that's not just a departure but a revelationan intensely emotional examination of grief, laced with wit, insightfulness, compassion and searing honesty." Fuller directs a cast of five in this "transcendent and deeply affecting" play. Rabbit Hole includes some adult language.
Rabbit Hole opens Thursday February 5, and will be performed 12 times over three weekends, ending on Sunday February 22. Thursday and Friday performances are at 7:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday performances are at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $12 for Adults, $10 for students and seniors, $8 for children over the age of four. Box office hours are 1:00-3:00 Tuesday through Friday, at the Claire vg Thomas Theatre in Lynden, inside the Dutch Village Mall on Front Street. The box office opens on January 27. Call 360-354-4425.
