********Echoes of the War: The New Word, The Old Lady Shows her Medals and A Well Remembered Voice
********Echoes of the War examines the lives of three families in London England as they face the uncertainty and repercussions of the first World War. These beautiful stories are snapshots in time, which reveal the pain and fear of facing war and living with its results. They show the strength and love needed for families to persevere. Woven together as vignettes around a central core message, each story echoes through time leaving a message of hope. Rendition Theatre is honoured to present these stories to the world through simple staging in a timeless venue. We truly hope that audiences hear and enjoy Barrie's wonderful text and are inspired. Written originally as short stories, Rendition Theatre feels that these stories also stand on their own as theatriclal pieces depicting the human condition in trying times. As Troops return home this Fall, we wish to thank them and their families and honour them with this presentation.
