Conversations Re: Tacoma 2010 - Density, Gentrification & Other Dirty Words: The Value of Vision 
Does Tacoma have a vision, a story or a plan? When changes to Tacoma's urban fabric are proposed, how are decisions
 made? This panel discussion will explore how communities develop. Looking at Tacoma as well as other cities approach
 to urban redevelopment decisions and policies, we will discuss the differences between a plan, a narrative and a vision for a city. We will examine one Tacoma neighborhood in the midst of developing a direction toward achieving the goal of becoming a "Livable Community".
