Orlando Kids by Handel
Introduce your children to the beautiful music of Handel!
The Boulder Opera presents a reduced version of Orlando by Handel. Set in the Wild West, we will meet characters like cowboys, a Sheriff, a rancher and natives that are all dealing with the complexities of friendship, love and moral duties.
Directed by Michael Kilcoyne, this production features a cast of five local Opera singers accompanied by an original harpsichord. A narrator takes the audience through the story and introduces kids to baroque opera.
Lasting an hour with Q&A at the end, this performance will surely be a delight to all!
