Elements of 2D Design: The Hands-On Studio Experience
Learn how to look at contemporary art. Explore the seven elements of 2D design and learn to deconstruct the way we see everyday objects. Build your understanding of how line, shape, form, color, value, texture and form influence our daily lives. Breaking down these elements and learning to construct art through a variety of 2D mediums, you will receive a basic understanding of how design functions in contemporary art. This class meets four Thursdays, April 30, May 7, 14, 21 from 6pm to 8pm.
