Food Lab Dinner Series @ Ted & Honey
Ted & Honey is happy to open its doors and kitchen to feature a series of pop up dinners.
This month's dinner series features guest chef, Winston Chiu. Chef Chiu started his culinary journey long before he knew he wanted it as a career. The Brooklyn native remembers spending countless summers helping his family's small takeout operation in the UK. He eventually obtained a degree in finance and mathematics and spent several years as an actuary in a top global risk consulting firm before realizing his true calling in the culinary arts.
Shortly after graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education, he sought apprenticeships in top restaurants such as Betony and WD50. Today he continues to follow his passion to cook, learn, and teach, all while chasing his next succulent endeavor. He is currently involved in collaborating with Brooklyn Brewery's supper club series, Food Science teacher at Avenues, and Chef/Co-founder of bonbite, farm to table lunchbox service.
We welcome Chef Chiu to our kitchen and look forward to celebrating with you all!
