The Lead Abatement Worker Course is for individuals seeking license in Ohio as a lead abatement worker. This four-day course meets Ohio's requirement for training. Individuals passing this course will receive a certificate of course completion. To obtain a license as a worker, you will need to submit a copy of the course certificate, along with a completed state application form and payment of a $50 fee to the State of Ohio. Once this is processed you will be notified by the state on how to arrange for a third party examination. The examination fee is $50. Once you pass the state examination, you will be provided with a license which is valid for two years.
