High School Shortlist Workshop for Brooklyn Parents
Bring the big DOE high school directory and come away with a folder containing a short list of worthy high schools and their specialties within possible commuting distance of Brooklyn and lower Manhattan, so that you can face the fall with confidence. I will lead you through the directory with information, strategies and tips on keeping it organized, helping your child engage in the process and keeping your wits about you while finding a good fit school for your child. I recommend this event for students as well as parents.
I cover schools that would be a possible commute for students living in Brooklyn, although some schools have eligibility requirements according to where you live. Manhattan parents should contact me to find a talk appropriate for their needs.
