I Like Pig Recipe Cook-Off
The producers and chefs of I Like Pig: Recipes and Inspiration from New York City's Pig Island are hosing a pork cook-off with amateur chefs and featuring sustainable meat farms, including:
Flying Pigs Farm
Violet Hill Farm
Heritage Foods
Dickson's Farmstand Meats
Fleisher's Pasture-Raised Meats
The Meat Hook
Contestants will be recreating dishes from or inspired by the cookbook, with prizes to include cookware from Anolon.
Unlimited pork samples with limited spirits samples (rye, vodka, gin). Otherwise a cash bar is available.
Proceeds from this event benefit NYC's Edible Schoolyard.
