Ken Follett: Fall of Giants
Attention, Ken Follett fans: You might want to clear your calendar for the next four years. One of the world's most beloved novelists (The Pillars of the Earth), Follett has a new historical epic, and it's just the first installment in a new series called The Century Trilogy. Volume One, Fall of Giants, follows five interrelated families--American, German, Russian, English, and Welsh--through World War I and the Russian Revolution; the second book, due in 2012, will feature their descendants in the Depression and WWII; and the third (2014) will continue the tale through the Cold War.
