Blues Cruisin' Lunch on the Delaware
The Blues Collaborative is proud to sponsor its 2nd annual Blues Cruisin' Lunch aboard the beautiful Spirit of Philadelphia. Departing from Penn's Landing in Philadelphia, you'll be entertained by soulful Blues vocalist and Blues Hall of Fame member Georgie "The Blacksmith" Bonds and his All Star Blues Revue while enjoying a gourmet luncheon buffet.
You'll cruise the Delaware River with views of the Philadelphia skyline, the Walt Whitman Bridge, the Ben Franklin Bridge, and the USS New Jersey. The Blues Cruisin' Lunch takes place on September 20, 2015.
Tickets include the following:
- Admission to board the Spirit of Philadelphia;
- Live music by Georgie Bonds and his All Star Blues Revue;
- A delicious gourmet lunch (menu); and
- An open bar for beer, wine & soft drinks with a cash bar for mixed drinks.
Georgie and his Band will be joined by an impressive group of performers from the areas top Blues bands, include Roger Girke of the Roger Girke Band; Charlie Frey of the Blue Plate Specials; Arlyn Wolters of the Dukes of Destiny; Mike Mettalia of Midnight Shift; Nate Myers of Nate Myers and the Aces; Stacy Brooks, DC's Queen of the Blues; Vanessa Collier of the Vanessa Collier Band; Billy Pierce of the Billy Pierce Band; Jeffrey Mainer on the lap steel guitar; and Lori Cushman of Voodoo DeVille.
The ship will begin boarding at 12:30pm and leave the dock promptly at 1:00pm, returning to the dock at 3:00pm. The music will continue aboard the ship for another hour until 4:00pm when passengers must disembark. During the hour at dockside, the bar will remain open but will convert to a cash bar for beer & wine.
