In this one-man show, Bill uses ridiculously dark comedy to tell how he found his way through emotional pain to a more joyful existence. This is the funny and poignant story of how he lost 117lb, quit drugs, stopped wanting to kill himself, and overcame social anxiety. Directed by Karen Gamble.

Bill has been performing standup, sketch and theatrical comedy for decades, and has appeared on Comedy Central. He has won the Seattle Moth a few times, and appeared on the Moth Radio Hour. Bill's last one-man show, Microvation (job stress comedy), was featured in the Seattle Times and played to packed houses.

Doors open at 7 (show 7:30), get there early for food and drinks!

What people are saying about the show:

"I think it's impolite to laugh at someone while they confess personal battles with depression and addiction, but Bernat gave me no choice. This is a smart, funny show."
Jacob Block, Seattle

"Bill touches on things we've all experienced, recovering addicts or not. The struggles of just being human were brought out in such strong relief. The show is deep, insightful, and hilarious."
Janna Wachter, Seattle

"Only someone who's been there can make overcoming suicide, obesity and drug addiction this funny."
Paul Currington, Olympia

"Funny and emotionally charged. It's easy to see the seriousness behind the laughter and compelling to watch Bill's transformation throughout the show."
Malia Sleight, Seattle

"Bill brings an effervescence to some pretty heavy topics, making them accessible and hysterical. More than a stand up routine, Bill will delight you with his storytelling making it look effortless in the process."
Kathrin Russette, Seattle
