Glass Menagerie by Tennesee Williams
One of the most famous plays of the modern era by one of our most celebrated American playwrights, Tennesee Williams. Amanda Wingfield, a faded remnant of southern gentility, lives with her daughter, Laura, and son, Tom, in a dingy apartment in St. Louis. Eager to see Laura married and cared for by some "nice young man," she prevails upon Tom to bring a gentleman caller home for dinner. Humorous and poignant, told beautifully in Williams' poetic language. A don't miss opportunity!
