Crisis Hopkins and Slave Leia (2010 SF Improv Festival)
The San Francisco Improv Festival presents an improv double-bill with Crisis Hopkins (San Francisco) and Slave Leia (Los Angeles).
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Crisis Hopkins has performed improv and sketch comedy locally and throughout the nation since 2006. We currently host improv jams and workshops at the Climate Theater and perform at venues throughout the Bay Area and beyond. Our last big show Easy Answers for Hard Times ran at Stage Werx in May 2010. It was preceded by One Nation Under Crisis the previous year. Crisis Hopkins also produces the Improv Soapbox at The Climate, and The Temporary Improv Festival.
Slave Leia is a 4-woman, Jedi-positive improv group from Los Angeles. Our members trained and currently perform at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre and iO West. Slave Leia performed at the LA Comedy Festival, Sarasota Improv Festival and the Del Close Marathon in NYC. We have powerful friends.
