- Recognition of local activists working for civil liberties, racial justice, income equality, and the rights of people and the earth.
- JOHN A. POWELL, Main Speaker, UC Berkeley Professor of Law, African American Studies, Ethnic Studies and author of Racing to Justice: Transforming Our Conceptions of Self and Other to Build an Inclusive Society.
