Gloriana presents La Cage Aux Folles
"La Cage aux Folles" (The Birdcage) is the award wining musical comedy from the composer, Jerry Herman, who wrote the shows "Hello, Dolly", and "Mame".
This show is not only hysterically funny, but also endearing as it affirms love and family life, even while it entertains and fascinates us in a wacky show biz world of extravagant color, music, dance, and comedy.
New York Times calls it "The feel good musical for all".
"La Cage aux Folles" is based upon the story of the film, "The Birdcage" with Robin Williams. It is spectacular, glitzy, and even has the original glamorous Broadway costumes. Fort Bragg is honored to present this wonderful musical while it is currently being performed on Broadway in New York. It is a smash hit there and will be here too. Eagles Hall Theatre will be transformed into the French Riviera cabaret club setting for "La Cage aux Folles". Ticket reservations have already begun and the pre-show excitement for this show is extraordinary.
