CALI & CO dance: Practice-to-Performance 2015
CALI & CO's Practice-to-Performance Workshop will investigate creative process into performance, including a somatic-based Contemporary Movement Class, Improvisation with Intention, Choreographic Invention, Creative Inquiry, talking dance, thinking dance, making dance...culminating in a Sunday evening performance in concert with invited Bay Area Dance Makers.

***Christine Cali is the Artistic Director of the San Francisco based CALI & CO dance founded in 2001. Her performance and teaching career spans over two decades both nationally and abroad. She holds an MFA in Dance from Hollins University/American Dance Festival (06'), BFA from Ohio University (97'), she is certified in Pilates and co-directed projectLIMB in Brooklyn, NY (03'-06').
Cali holds herself to creating a safe and dynamic container for dancers to share information, experiment and hone their skills while pushing each dancer to seek their potential as a mover and human.
She is teaching faculty at ODC Dance Commons, Sonoma State University and ROCO Dance and tours regularly as a guest artist and teacher including ALONZO KINGS LINES BFA program, American Conservatory Theater/A.C.T- MFA program, University of San Francisco, The Branson School, The Marin School of The Arts, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Arizona State University, University of Wyoming, University of South Florida, Mendocino College, Ohio University, SungKyunKwan University in Seoul, S Korea, The Ambrit School in Rome, Italy and workshops and performances in Japan, China, Toronto, NYC and more.
