Event
Wildmen, Wobblies & Whistlepunks
Prepare for the long winter with an afternoon
bus trip highlighting the Northwest's rich
logging history. The tour begins with a stop
at the Tillamook Forestry Center, the region's
largest forest-based learning center and outdoor
classroom facility. We'll then visit the Stimson
lumber mill to learn about contemporary
harvesting techniques and logging equipment.
The day concludes with every logger's favorite
a visit to Camp 18 Restaurant, for a dinner
conversation with Brian Booth, author of Wildmen,
Wobblies & Whistlepunks: Stewart Holbrook's
Lowbrow Northwest.
