Taming of the Shrew
Set in Padua, Italy the play follows the courtship of Petruchio, a young noble of Verona, and Katherina, daughter of Baptista, who is said to be such a volatile nature that no man would ever want to marry her.
Never the less, Petruchio decides that Katherinaâs hand will be his in marriage to prove that he has what it takes to âtameâ the shrew.
Be sure and catch Taming of the Shrew, which will be performed in Montgomery Auditorium on July 9th and 15th at 7:30 p.m. Also, there will be a matinee performance Sunday the 18th at 2 p.m.
