Sandwich Lab 01: BREAD
Co-hosted by meatpaper's Sasha Wizansky and Bi-Rite's Susan Kim, Sandwich Lab is a 4-part series intended to get to the bottom of sandwich-mania. Attendees will learn about the sandwich from the outside in, make and eat many different sandwich types, and investigate why we love sandwiches oh so much. Be prepared to get your hands dirty!
Sandwich Lab 01 is BREAD: An appreciation of white bread. This workshop will examine the role of white bread in creating a comforting sandwich experience. Attendees will learn all about bread making from Outerlands bread guru Dave Muller. We will then prepare and enjoy Outerlands-inspired turkey sandwiches with sprouts, pickled red onion and aioli. For vegetarians, grilled cheese is on the menu, and we will have a panini press fired up and ready to go.
Wine to be served, as well!
