It's About Love

REACH BC Dance Company presents It's About Love February 6-8 at Dance Mission Theater, San Francisco. Co-created by Raphaël Boumaīla and Heather Cooper, REACH is a marriage of classical American modern dance and contemporary. With twenty years experience in the Limón Dance Company, Mr. Boumaīla brings a deeply investigated understanding of the power of gesture in the humanistic tradition. With her twenty years experience as a dance artist and educator in the Bay Area, Ms. Cooper brings a contemporary sensibility to the work. Together, they are creating dance that can be understood, felt and experienced by everyone. Through the language of movement, they are speaking about all of us, as people.

It's About Love is a launch of REACH BC Dance Company, this new voice in dance, with choreography by Heather Cooper and Raphaël Boumaīla, and guest artist Mark Foehringer. Performances run Friday, February 6 at 8:00 pm, Saturday, February 7 at 8:00 and Sunday, February 8 at 2:00 pm.
