StudioWorks: Portrait Painting with Jennifer Packer
The experience of art-viewing and art-making come together for teens during this 3-day workshop series. After a gallery discussion of artist techniques and materials in Titus Kaphar: The Jerome Project and Kianja Strobert: Of This Day in Time, participants will work with artist Jennifer Packer (artist in residence 2012-13) in a studio space for instructional training in portrait-painting. This workshop is designed for teen artists at all levels of art experience.
The workshop will culminate with a display of student work.
