Erin Courtney Playwriting Workshop at JACK
Using a variety of exercises, participants will be exposed to a variety of techniques that they can use in their work: warm-ups, content generating tools, revision techniques and structural insights.
Erin Courtney's play A Map of Virtue, produced by 13P and directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, was awarded an Obie. Her play I Will Be Gone will be produced by Actors Theater of Louisville in the 2015 Humana Festival. Her work has been produced and developed by Clubbed Thumb, The Flea, New York Stage and Film, Soho Rep, The Vineyard,The Atlantic Theater and The Public. A Guggenheim Fellow, she is also an affiliated artist with Clubbed Thumb, a member of 13P, and a member of New Dramatists. She is a Guggenheim fellow, teaches in the MFA playwriting program at Brooklyn College.
