Magic Chicago welcomes husband & wife team, Mike Powers & Maria Schweiter also joining us will be Brandon Baggett.

Mike Powers has performed at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. He has authored several books on magic, is a prolific creator of magic and is a contributor to various magical journals. Mike is a two time winner of Chicago's TOP HOT Magic Festival and winner at Michigan Magic Days. He is in demand as a lecturer at various magic conventions throughout the United States and is a member of the Society of American Magicians and International Brotherhood of Magicians.

Maria Schweiter was raised in Bolivia, South America and became interested in magic at an early age. After coming to the United States to attend college at The University of Illinois, she became involved in the local magic scene. She is one of a small group of women to have graduated from the Chavez School of Magic under Neil Foster. Maria is currently a member of both the SAM and IBM having been president of IBM Ring 236.

Brandon Baggett is a modernized magician who began his love for magic at an unusually young age -- following in his fathers footsteps as a magician. By the age of 16 years he was introduced by Carnival Cruise Lines to be one of the youngest ever to headline his own show. After high school the magician explored his opportunities in magic. In the summer of 2007 Brandon was announced as the park magician for Six Flags over St. Louis, Missouri. He is currently working comedy clubs and corporate events all across the United States.
