Dark Room 2015 - Play Workshop Series
20% Theatre Company Chicago presents The Dark Room: A Play Writing Workshop. 20% Theatre Company will feature the work of emerging playwrights Wendy Schmidt and Carolyn Kras during the Dark Room at Mrs. Murphy and Sons Irish Bistro (3905 N. Lincoln Ave). Mine and Yours by Carolyn Kras will perform on Wednesday and Friday (Jan. 21st and 23rd) and The Newlyweds by Wendy Schmidt will perform on Thursday and Saturday (Jan. 22nd and 24th). The Darkroom was created to give Chicago's emerging women playwrights an opportunity to see their newest pieces unfold before an audience, while exposing the rest of us to their exciting, cutting-edge work. The audience will be invited to participate in a post-show discussion with the artists to offer feedback about the playwright's work.
