Wallingford Community Kitchen June 2010 - Summer Picnic

Join us on Friday, June 18th for another exciting Wallingford Community Kitchen: Our Summer Picnic. The kitchen is held from 5:30pm to 9pm at the Wallingford COMMUNITY Senior Center at the Good Shepherd Center.

We will cook as a community and then enjoy the bounties of our labor by sitting down to share a meal. Participation requires a $5 pre-registration fee to cover the cost of ingredients and the facilities. We ask that anyone who can, donate additional funds to allow those who are facing financial difficulties the chance to attend.

We also ask that all participants bring an appetizer, drink or dessert to share with the group (please no bread products as we receive those by donation). Please also bring along something to put on the grill for yourself; we'll be making up some great salads to accompany our meal.

As always, bring along your appetite and some containers for any leftovers
