LaZoom Fringe Bus Tour
The very talented Valerie Meiss and Ian Moore are your LaZoom hosts as the bus tours through town visiting site specific performances and installations. On the tour, you will visit:
kalos, eidos, skopia by Caroline Williford
You, at the threshold . . . we need you. Where do you begin and we end? Come be this beautiful world. Enraptured and seen. Call it kalos, beautiful, beauty, eidos, that which is seen, form, shape, skopeō, to look to, to examine, and hence, the observation of beautiful forms. Caroline Williford is a choreographer, dancer, multi-media artist and shepherdess, seeking the visceral and profound in the utmost ordinary and the luminously fictitious.
Muladhara Ritual by Abigail Griffin
Multimedia artist Abigail Griffin has combined eclectic dance forms and videography to create a narrative video installation interwoven with a live performative element. Muladhara Ritual explores the passage of and manipulation of time, ritual process, and the use of the elements as archetypes of transformation. Exploration of the installation is informal, and viewers are encouraged to watch the video loop unfold as well as looking inside the installation itself.
Acrylic Fire by Jason Bolton
Acrylic fire is the innovative combination of performance and visual art. Developed and performed by artist Jay Bolton. Bolton sets his canvas on fire, and goes into the flames with his paint covered hands, in order to help the audience come to terms with their own creative fears.

A human sized walking Vagina and penis are going to meet again for the first time. How will the meeting go? Will they meet each others expectations? What are they supposed to do and how will they know?
