Slow Food San Diego Celebrates Spring at Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens

Executive Chef Carlton Greenawalt infuses a creative, natural approach to the restaurant menu by drawing freely from dishes all over the world. The bistro features locally grown, seasonal products, 100% naturally raised meats, free range poultry, and in-house made sauces, kimchee and pickled items.

The restaurant menu clearly celebrates all things local with an amazing selection of artisanal and regional beers, wines, produce, meats, breads & cheese. Ice cream from the legendary San Diego County institution Niederfranks, mustard from Carlsbad Gourmet, mussels and clams from Carlsbad Aqua Farms, tofu from San Diego Soy Dairy, cheese from Winchester Gouda and Bubalis Bubalus, coffee and teas from Ryan Bros., and spices from San Diego Tea & Spice are just a few examples.

Greg Koch also believes in Slow Food's principle of getting back to the table as a center of pleasure.
