The year is 2013/1933. A mysterious stalk of genetically modified wheat is discovered in an Oregon field. Is it an accident, or the root of a massive conspiracy beyond our knowledge and control? Inspired by real and imagined events, Farmer Dave's Bicycle-Powered Dream World follows the struggles of Farmer Dave, who is forced by circumstance into the center of a global battle between powerful and secretive interests. In its unwavering quest for the truth, this dusty, noir-ish detective story follows a series of quirky, sometimes unsavory individuals as they puzzle over a mystery with world-wide ramifications. It is a darkly comedic tragedy that employs poetic language, old time music, dance, puppetry and the most advanced gene-splicing technology to relay its tale.
