Intro to Improvisation

Join some of the UK's most experienced improvisation teachers on a safe, supportive and most importantly, hilarious course that will challenge and delight you in equal measure.

In 8 weeks, you will be introduced to the core concepts of improvisation through exercises and games from different improvisation traditions and schools around the world. You will play games, create ideas and inhabit characters, accessing deep veins of creativity that you never even knew that you had. Working with a small group (max 14), you will learn to embrace uncertainty and live in the moment to create improvised theatre that is funny, beautiful and heartfelt.

This course is open to absolutely anyone. Maybe you have done a drop in or two at the Nursery or elsewhere and want a structured course, maybe you saw 'Whose line is it anyway' way back when and always wanted to try it out, or maybe you just want something different. You don't need any performance experience, you don't need to be funny, all you need is the willingness to try something new!
