Young Playwrights Conference Readings Series Program C
Founded in 1981 by Stephen Sondheim and now under the board leadership of David Henry Hwang, Young Playwrights Inc. has spent the last 33 years identifying and supporting playwrights aged 18 and under.
The Young Playwrights Conference is the culmination of a year's process of evaluating and developing the top plays from the Young Playwrights Inc. National Playwriting Competition. This year we have eight extremely talented writers joining us in New York City to network with theater professionals, see the best of New York theater, and, of course, fully participate in the rehearsal and presentation of their Off-Broadway staged reading.
Program C features WE GO TOGETHER by Zoe Kamil with dramaturgy by alice pencavel; MS. MAYFIELD'S AQUARIUM by Madeleine Lobdell, directed by Portia Krieger; with dramaturgy by Rachel Bonds; and SNOW GRAY by Eliana Pipes; directed by Talvin Wilks, with dramaturgy by Marcus Gardley.
