WHO IS ALICE ORR?
Alice Orr has a wide range of experience in writing and publishing â" as teacher and lecturer, published author, editor and literary agent. Alice is a former book editor for a New York City publishing house. As president of Alice Orr Literary Agency, also in New York City, she represented many talented, successful authors including New York Times and USA Today bestsellers and numerous award winners.
Alice is an author with many articles, essays, eleven novels and two novellas published so far. Her nonfiction book. No More Rejections: 50 Secrets to Writing A Manuscript That Sells, published by Writers Digest Books, is a comprehensive guide to writing fiction with editor-agent appeal. Alice is married and has two grown children and two perfect grandchildren. She and her husband Jonathan live on Pink Tractor Farm, Vashon Island, Washington.
