A young girl attends her first day of school at Bookington Academy. There, she meets many people who remind her of characters from books she has read. She thinks that she's going mad.While among them she realizes that she is having trouble coping with her own life. Her constant denial may be her undoing at this new school full of colorful characters. There are seven original songs in this piece written by Giselle Greenberg and accompanied by Miki Greenberg, Ruben Whitaker, and Janet Sayre.
