Full Disclosure by Ruth McKee SAN FERNANDO VALLEY
Set up as an open house, the audience is invited into a seller's home by Sunny, a singer-turned-realtor. As she shows off the beautiful features of the home, there are a few things she just has to disclose. Full Disclosure is a comical tragedy about the people who sell lives that they themselves cannot afford to buy.
Full Disclosure is helmed by three of Chalk Rep's founding members: Larissa Kokernot, who recently won the Ovation Award for Best Director for her work on Chalk Rep's site-specific production of Family Planning; Ruth McKee, who penned last fall's Garland Nominated production of Stray, which has recently gone on to be produced in New York as a part of the Cherry Lane Theatre's Mentor Project (mentored by David Henry Hwang); and Amy Ellenberger, who was last seen in Chalk's summer production of The Debate Over Courtney O'Connell of Columbus Nebraska.
