Nursing Advocacy Conference
With health care reform legislation passed and signed by the President, what changes are in store for the American healthcare system? How do these changes impact nursing? Why should nurses stay engaged and how can they best do so? These will be among the topics addressed at the Consortium's upcoming Advocacy Conference; Reforming; American Health Care in Transition. Speakers will include Susan B. Hassmiller, Ph.D., R.N., F.A.A.N. the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Senior Advisor for Nursing, Anna Small, Esq. A.R.N.P., C.N.M., Of Counsel in the Tallahassee office of Broad and Cassel whose clients include the Florida Nurses Association, and Clarence Williams, Chief of Staff to Congressman Kendrick Meek.
