The Better Doctor
Against the backdrop of one of America's Great Depressions, poor children are going without medical care. A Good Samaritan, Velma, has a plot to help them. Her scheme brings her together with a bumbling but good hearted medical intern who falls in love with Velma and in line with her plans. Together they kick an inefficient and uncaring healthcare system in the butt...or at least take one small step towards kicking it in the butt.
