Politics & Prose and Sixth & I Present DAVID AXELROD
Prior to founding the University of Chicago's Institute of Politics in 2012, David Axelrod served as a political strategist for President Obama's two presidential campaigns, as well as a senior advisor to both President Obama and to President Clinton. Influential and visible as these positions are, they represent but a fraction of Axelrod's life-long passion for politics.
His inspiring memoir, BELIEVER, is replete with stories ranging from his early days in New York and as a young reporter for the Chicago Tribune to his national campaign work and on to his long friendship with Obama.
