The original Broadway production of THE PAJAMA GAME opened in May of 1954 and won the Tony for Best Musical.  The 2006 Broadway revival won a Tony for Best Revival of a Musical.  The Pajama Game is based on the novel 7 1/2 Cents by Richard Bissell with book by George Abbott and Richard Bissell; music and lyrics by Richard Adler, Jerry Ross and Frank Loesser, .

The musical tells the story of workers in a pajama factory trying to get better working conditions and a 7 1/2 cent an hour raise, while the Head of the Company is unbending to workers' demands.  Babe, the head of The Grievance Committee, and Sid, the new factory superintendent, wind up falling in love in the midst of the labor disputes.  There is a large cast of fun and funny characters, with many well known and well loved songs.

BPCMT's production of THE PAJAMA GAME is appropriate for all ages who can sit through and enjoy a 2 1/2 hour long Broadway production.
