One night Longform Blitz with Tara DeFrancisco & Rance Rizzutto
Veteran performers & teachers from iO/SecondCity/ComedySportz Chicago hit the road for class on Commando, Montage, and Harold moves!
Whether you've attempted the forms before or you're brand new, this fun class will focus primarily on big ideas like organic openings, scenes stemming from theme rather than suggestion, and pushing ideas forward through the piece. Two nights/six hours of awesome work to get you going with two of the most revered instructors in the home of long form.

RANCE RIZZUTTO has been professionally performing and teaching improv for over ten years. Currently you can catch him at iO in Chaos Theory and The Deltones, iO's improvised musical. Rance has performed with The Beatbox, and numerous other groups, including four contracts aboard NCL cruise ships performing sketch and improv for Second City Theatricals. Rance has coached and designed team building as well as hosting and emceeing. He has provided these services for Intel, Nike, AT&T, Wells Fargo, IBM, Hewlett Packard and more.
TARA DEFRANCISCO is a headlining performer at iO Chicago (on the Deltones, Chaos Theory, Armando, defrancisCo), ComedySportz (Mainstage), and a three year vet of the Second City Touring Company. She has taught for all three theatres, and travels internationally to run immersions all over the world. She can be seen in the Las Vegas commercial campaign, on Delusions of Grandeur (ABC Family/Blip TV), and in the new feature film The Life & Death of an Unhappily Married Man (2015). She is also the founder and president of The Improv Retreat, the acclaimed and beloved summer retreat for adult improvisers in the midwest. Tara has own numerous Chicago awards, including Top Performer in Chicago 2012 from New City, Funniest Person in Chicago by the Free Press, and Top 25 Of Comedy in the US by Curve Magazine.
You can catch Rance & Tara in their new lauded show "Here", which they recently toured to four countries in Europe, weekly on iO's mainstage in 2015.
