Mouse in a Jar
The LIDA Project continues its fifteenth season of experimental theatre in Denver with Mouse in a Jar. Written by emerging playwright Martyna Majok, Mouse in a Jar tells a story of Ma, an illegal immigrant and her daughters, who live under the shadow of the Man in Boots and in the fog of sizzling sausages. Mouse in a Jar is a horror story packed full of violence, subterranean life forms, and gallows humor. This is a story of displacement, Stockholm syndrome, and the impossible grace of bondage. Acts of desperation required.
Mouse in a Jar features an ensemble cast of Trina Magness, Janna Meiring, Lorenzo SariƱana, and Kelleen Shadow and directed by Julie Rada.
