Comedy Aces at The Pilot Tavern

Dear comedy patron,

This January, as part of my 30th anniversary as a professional comedian, I will be doing a special series of shows called "Comedy Aces".

These shows will take place on Thursday evenings, starting January 15th at The Pilot Tavern in Toronto.

Joining me on these shows will be some of very funny people I have had the pleasure of working with since the boom days (That's right, young comics, those really happened). These comedians didn't just work the road, they're the ones who helped to build it.

The reason I chose to do these shows at The Pilot, (apart from the obvious marketing/ fighter plane imagery connection), is because back in the day, (as the kids like to say), The Pilot was the place where we all got together to hang out after the show. Or in those days, "shows" - sometimes three or four in one night. (Yes young ones, the stories you've heard are true.)

There will be three shows with at least four different performers on each show. Due to individual scheduling, I can't tell you exactly who will be on which show, but I assure you they are going to be amazing. Some comics you will recognize from TV. Others you've never heard of. It doesn't matter. Every one of them is a seasoned pro, and they're all hilarious. You won't find a better line up of seasoned comedy pros on one stage anywhere in the city.

If you used to enjoy going to comedy clubs, but haven't been in a long time, this is your chance to see some of your favourites. And if you're relatively new to comedy, this is a rare opportunity to watch some of the best comedians you will ever see together on one amazing show.
