Choke On My Heart
Toy Boat Productions presents "Choke on My Heart", a collection of short valentine one-acts with decidedly less cheese and definitely more sci-fi and government conspiracy than your average holiday. "Choke on My Heart" will be at The Coho Theater February 13th and 14th at 7:00pm and is a benefit for Planned Parenthood. Toy boat productions strives to increase appreciation for the theatrical arts by producing original pieces by local writers with off-beat senses of humor and involving both the very experienced and relative novices in the productions. Come see such novelties as "The Catholic School Girl and The Gay Klingon", "Natasha: Part Two", "Paranoia", and "Bukowski, Dad and Me." Commitment-phobic? Catch a sneak preview of selected works at The Towne Lounge February 9th and 10th at 7pm for only five dollars. Or if you are all ready to settle down come to The Coho Theater at 2257 NW Raleigh February 13th or 14th at 7:00pm. Presale tickets are available through governmentproductions.com with an oh-so slight service charge or are $10 at the door.
