Paul Bannick - The Life of the Snowy Owl
This event is co-sponsored by the North Cascades Audubon Society. Through intimate images, personal stories and video recordings from the Arctic tundra, renowned wildlife photographer Paul Bannick takes you on an exploration of the four seasons of the Snowy Owl. You'll see unique, never-shared images of spring courtship and nesting, nestlings in the Arctic and winter migrations to the lower 48 states. In these changing times of climate and habitat, witness the adaptations of Snowy Owls and their neighbors including the willow and rock ptarmigans, red-throated and Pacific loons, snow buntings, Arctic foxes, and polar bears.
